Our Vision

Our belief is that heritage isn’t just what we inherit—it’s what we choose to protect, reimagine, and carry forward. From village stories to urban ruins, from women’s embroidery to handwritten archives, we centre the voices often left out of traditional heritage work: displaced people, local craftspeople, women, and youth.

Through community-led projects, training, storytelling, and advocacy, we support grassroots efforts that see heritage not just as a nostalgic past, but as a source of resilience, dignity, and future belonging.

To grow the skills, visibility, and confidence of the heritage sector across the MENA region by:

  • Sharing practical, inclusive, and locally driven models that inspire and empower.

  • Providing training, mentoring, and open-access resources and toolkits where applicable.

  • Encouraging co-created solutions and community-based strategies.

  • Bridging research and practice to support evidence-based, justice-driven heritage work.

  • Building a connected network of heritage stewards rooted in care, inclusion, and collective responsibility.
